ELAT Registration

All ELAT entries must be made by the test centre administering the ELAT. Candidates currently attending a school or college should approach their Examinations Officer to find out if their school is willing to administer ELAT for them. Candidates not attending a school or college will need to find a centre where they can sit the test.

Candidates should discuss ELAT costs with their centre as some centres may charge an administration fee on top of the entry fees. More information about entry fees.

All of the registration information below, is available as a downloadable PDF file:

Information for Candidates

You cannot register yourself for ELAT, you must be registered by an ELAT centre.

Currently attending a school or college?

You should approach your Examinations Officer to find out if your school is able to administer the test for you. If your school or college is not already registered as a test centre, they just need to follow the easy 3-step centre registration process outlined below.

Not currently attending a school or college?

You will need to find a centre where you can sit the test, via the 'Find a Centre' link at the top of the page.

You should discuss any costs with your centre, as some centres may charge an administration fee in addition to any relevant entry fees.

If you cannot find a centre please contact the ELAT Support Team.

If you are registering through an open centre you can use the relevant form below to help the centre register you:

Candidate details form

These forms will not be accepted by Cambridge Assessment, the form must be given to the Exams Officer making your entry.

Information for Exams Officers

All candidates need to be entered for the ELAT by their centre. Entries are made via the Entries Extranet, a secure website that allows authorised test centres to register, view, modify, and withdraw candidate entries.

Already registered?

If you have previously registered to use the Entries Extranet to register candidates for ELAT, then you do not need to re-register your centre.

If you have forgotten your password, please use the 'I forgot my password' link on the Entries Extranet homepage.

Not registered? Register your centre to make candidate entries:

If you find that your centre is not already registered, registering to administer the ELAT is very easy and completely free of charge. Just follow the quick 3-step process below to register your centre:

You will then be emailed a link to the Entries Extranet for you to make your entries, as well as your username and password for the Entries Extranet. Passwords should be copied and pasted from the email to avoid errors.
