STEP dates and costs are advertised to match the UCAS application cycle which runs from September to August.

Entries for STEP will be taken from this date
30th March 2012 Last date for requests for modified question papers
e.g Braille or enlarged
30th April 2012 Standard entry closing date
Standard entry fees will apply until 5pm BST
25th May 2012 Last date for STEP entries
Late entry fees will apply until 5pm BST. Entries cannot be withdrawn after this date. Candidates or centres who miss this deadline date should contact Cambridge Assessment.
18th June 2012 PM STEP Paper I takes place
20th June 2012 PM STEP Paper II takes place
27th June 2012 PM STEP Paper III takes place
16th August 2012 STEP results released
Please note that paper results are no longer issued for STEP. All results will be released via our Results Online system.
23rd August 2012 Last date for Results Enquiries
All applications for results enquiries must arrive with the STEP Support Team no later than 5pm BST.

Additional Information

These dates will be updated in September 2012 for candidates who are applying in the 2012/13 admissions round.

£42.70 Standard entry fee per STEP paper

For entries made up until 5pm BST on 30th April 2012
£56.85 Late entry fee per STEP paper

For entries made from 30th April until 5pm BST on 25th May 2012
£35.00 Application for Results Enquiry (per paper)

Additional Information

Any entry made between 1st May - 25th May 2012 which is subsequently withdrawn will incur a late entry fee of £14.15 per paper.

Some centres may add an administration fee in addition to the STEP entry fee, this is at the centre's discretion.
